Here are favourite Airbnbs that we enjoyed over the years, each offering unique experiences.

At TripTipMe, we love genuine travel experiences. After more than 10 years using Airbnb, we wanted to share the 7 Airbnbs we liked the most.

All these Airbnbs had great hosts who were helpful and kind. The apartments or houses all had something very special, whether it was their location, design, or atmosphere.

1.Lake House in Vänern, Sweden

This two-bedroom house offers breathtaking views of Lake Vänern and receives lots of daylight thanks to many windows.

At the time, we were able to use the kayaks free of charge and enjoyed a little paddle on the lake.

The house is also located near a forest, which is really convenient for a walk.

To date, this lake house remains one of the most amazing Airbnb experiences we have had.

2.Cottage in San-Gavino-di-Carbini, Corsica

Our entire trip to Corsica was amazing; we enjoyed the landscape diversity (mountains, beaches, and beautiful coastal cities).

This Airbnb was one of the highlights of our trip.

This little cottage was super comfortable and stylish inside. However, the real treat was the shared outdoor amenities such as the swimming pool, pétanque pitch, etc.

Additionally, the cottage is located near some walks alongside a river, perfect for freshwater swimming. What’s not to love!

3.Design house in Playa Blanca, Lanzarote, Spain

When travelling in Lanzarote, we stayed in this house. We enjoyed the interior design and the colourful touches throughout the house.

The large terrace is a great highlight to spend some time enjoying a meal or some drinks.

4.Quirky hut in Sway, United Kindgom

This little hut, located on a farm is perfect for a getaway in nature.

We enjoyed the external hot tub, which is a perfect way to relax and pamper.

The interior is cosy and very functional. The hosts provided us with milk, bacon and eggs to cook breakfast, which was a very kind gesture.

We also went to a really nice pub nearby, which was super convenient for a meal.

5.Cosy apartment in Cercedilla, Spain

This apartment located in Cercedilla, a mountainside city near Madrid is a perfect base to explore the natural sights.

The extensive use of wood gives this place is very warm feeling. We visited in winter and enjoyed being inside after our day trips in the area.

6.Stunning house nested in a lush tropical landscape, Morne-Vert, Martinique

The photos of this Airbnb are impressive but staying there was even better.

This little house located in Morne Vert, boasts breathtaking view of the lush tropical landscape of northern Martinique.

The imposing Pitons du Carpet visible from the house create a cinematic mood, which is captivating.

Adding the private hot tub, the wooden terrace and the thoughtful designs to the mix, we have a stunning Caribbean retreat. One of favourite Airbnbs so far.

7.Outdoorsy summer cabin, Conil de la Frontera, Spain

The interior of this two-bedroom cabin is very practical but the outdoor spaces are the real stars.

This Airbnb features many well-designed outdoor areas, a well-maintained garden, an appealing swimming pool, an inviting patio with a deck. An ideal combination to relax during the hot days and enjoy balmy evenings.

It’s located a couple of kilometres away from Conil de la Frontera, an Andalusian seaside city.
